Meet Gianprakash
Gianprakash is native-born to Nepal. His entire family, going back to his great-grandfather, were Sherpa. On one trip up Mount Everest, a climber told him about a Disney character called “Stitch”. “He is space alien, but funny dog.” he told us. “I traveled to the nearest village where I could find this movie. I watched too many times I was sent home.” Needless to say, Gianprakash is a huge Stitch fan. “When I get to Magic Kingdom, I go there first. I laugh and laugh.” When asked about any other favorites, he told us he likes Mike Wazowksi (Ask him to say his name, it’s more adorable than Boo). “He have one eye. That is funny”. Several times during our interview he would shout “Mike Wazowski” to make us laugh. His favorite food is cupcakes. We asked if he had a favorite, he just said “cupcakes”. Gia, as he asked us to call him, said that he wants to be a comedian, or run one of the pretzel carts in the Magic Kingdom. “Everyone wants a pretzel. Even people who don’t want a pretzel, I think they buy … because it is Mickey.”

I was on a mother/daughter trip with my 6 year old. We were at the Magic Kingdom and in the morning I twisted my ankle. That night we were going to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. My daughter had her costume, but I could not walk well. I saw Mouse Sherpa on facebook post in one of the Disney groups and I went to their website. I told them I needed someone for the Halloween Party. Gia was available for the party. I did have to purchase a ticket for him to the party. But it was so worth it. I was able to hobble around, and Gia helped my daughter get her candy from all the lines. He also stayed in line with her for Character photos with Goofy, Jack and Sally, and Pirate Goofy. Not having to stand in lines allowed me to rest a bit. Later I gave him my magic band to use my fast pass for Peter Pan with my daughter. I am so thankful for this service. Without it, I don’t think I could have made it through the night.
The G-man was awesome! This guy is a riot. He was as funny as he was helpful. He doesn’t drink alcohol, so when we did the countries, he would say “You drink this for me.” pointing to a drink on the menu. After, he say “Did I like it? I feel drunk now.” He carried all our [expleptive deleted] the whole two days we were there.
